this is truly how your photographs are meant to be experienced. collaborating with the highest quality album craftsman available, your favourite wedding images are showcased in a tactile, lay flat album, printed on deliciously textured matte paper.

we are a Newcastle based studio. if your wedding is within driving distance, we have a travel rate to cover fuel, tolls, and the time spent getting to and from your wedding.

some weddings are within driving distance, but we may require to stay nearby overnight, and for this we do require you to cover accommodation expenses.

we’ve been lucky enough to photograph gorgeous weddings in all areas of australia and overseas. to take us with you we’ll require flights, car hire and accommodation expenses to be covered.

  • They say good things things take time, and this is definitely true when curating your album. We provide a handful of sneak peak photographs within a week of your wedding, so you can have photographs to share and enjoy in the meantime.

    Our delivery timeline —
    April - September — 5-6 weeks
    October - March — 7-8 weeks

    Our studio is closed for two weeks between the 20th December — 3rd January each year, so please keep in mind if your wedding is in November or December, this can impact delivery time.

  • our highlights films are available to be added on to any of our packages, and provide the narrative and energy of your day in motion.

    the duration of our films range between 3-5 minutes, offering you and your guests a short and sweet viewing experience.
    our films are laidback, simplistic and above all pretty dang cool.

    we do not record day-of audio, our films are visuals only.
    film can only be booked in conjunction with our photo packages.

  • Second photographers provide additional coverage of your wedding day and are available to be booked for each package we offer. Second photographers are suitable for weddings with a large guest list, weddings with spread out locations or to simply enjoy knowing your day is being well documented from two different perspectives.

    You can book a second shooter in for anywhere from 3 hours up to the entire duration of your chosen package. If you’re unsure about if you should need a second shooter or for how long you should have a second shooter at your wedding, we can assess your day and provide guidance on this.

    Some ideal placements for second shooters include:

    getting ready time until end of ceremony,
    ceremony until start of reception, or;
    3 hours of reception coverage

  • Nowadays it’s very common for guests to want to have their phones out recording as much as possible during weddings. An unplugged ceremony is when your celebrant requests that your guests refrain from using their phones and cameras during your ceremony. This is a decision that differs for each couple. We highly recommend going unplugged for a number of reasons.

    Reason number one; it keeps your guests present and immersed in the moment through the most important part of your day. Reason number two; you've hired professionals to do the job, and to do the job better than your eager grandma with an ipad.

    Lastly, and here’s where we’re the most biased; it simply makes for better photos of your ceremony, as you avoid a sea of phones in your ceremony photographs.

  • for bookings of 6 hours or more, providing a meal for your photographers is required, and for this we take 20 minutes during your reception to have a rest and enjoy a meal. we usually time this when you and your guests are eating.

  • $50 from every wedding booked with full hearts is donated to Bush Heritage Australia
